About Us
While living in Hoboken, NJ, I joined the local Planet Fitness. I hoped to incorporate it into my daily routine, but my work hours and schedule made regular gym visits impossible. Over six months, I seldom went, and within a year, I stopped entirely, opting for home workouts and runs for convenience. Realizing I was wasting money on an unused gym membership, I decided to cancel. However, the cancellation process proved challenging, requiring in-person visits or a written request, which meant I had to make an additional trip. To simplify this process for others, we created Quitness — a platform to facilitate hassle-free gym membership cancellations. We hope you find our platform useful and as always, your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our service.
Refund & Cancelation Policy
How Our Refunds Work
We guarantee a refund if we are unable to successfully cancel your gym membership. If you are charged in the month following the submission of your cancellation through our platform, we will issue a refund upon receipt of the bill. Please remember to provide proof of payment along with a copy of your membership agreement.
Monthly Memberships: Cancellation requests need to be submitted to us by the last day of the month to successfully cancel the following months billing cycle. Cancelation requests submitted after the last day of the month will be canceled at the following months billing cycle. Please allow 30 business days for your cancelation to be successfully processed.
Yearly Memberships: Cancelations through our platform will take effect at the next billing cycle.
