Simplified Cancelation Process
Canceling Planet Fitness online is easy with Quitness. Fill out the Quit Now form and include your home Planet Fitness membership details. We'll send the cancelation notice on your behalf via certified mail and confirm receipt of the letter. Your membership will be canceled at the following months cancelation date.

Canceling Planet Fitness Memberships
Whys it difficult?

In Person Cancelation
Planet Fitness requires in-person cancellation during business hours (9am-5pm Monday-Friday). Cancellation may be denied if the location manager is unavailable. Your odds of canceling increase if you visit during business hours.

Certified Letter
Planet Fitness requires a certified letter to cancel your membership outside of the gym. See an example letter here.

Planet Fitness employs various tactics to retain members, making it difficult to cancel. In most U.S. states, online cancellation is not possible.
